Today, there is an enormous potential for the localisation industry to become one of the enablers of the multilingual information society. Yet, traditional publishers and content developers now moving to the digital platform are not aware of the expertise and experience that the localisation industry can offer them.
Kristin Berg, a marketing consultant with Euro RSCG Interaction, will offer insight into marketing strategies available to the localisation industry to get our message across: Everybody publishing digital media needs localisation.
Through the presentation and interactive roundtable, we will discuss:
- Who are the best targets for localisation services? And to whom should we prioritise our marketing efforts?
- How do we raise awareness and educate digital media publishers on the need for localisation and the services and tools available to them?
- What are some of the mechanisms for marketing our services and how are they best deployed?
